A dystopian future where people try to deal with everyday misery in a positive-only world.

Type: Mini-Series / In Development

Synopsis: A dramatic satire set in a dystopian near future where people try to deal with everyday misery in a world where only positivity is allowed: A couple trying to prove they are qualified to take care of their own kid, an office worker keeping up happy productivity in a corporation, and a cancer patient in a happy facility to learn how to see her illness positively.

Ultimately, the cult of optimism is about the authority taking control of people’s feelings. The citizens must decide between fighting this toxic positivity and turning into outcasts, or becoming slaves of the system.

FWD Vietnam Insurance Plan (commercial)

A humorous short commercial for FWD’s new insurance plan.

I was in charge of the concept development and script writing for this humorous short commercial for FWD’s new insurance plan.

Most Vietnamese people are very careful to protect themselves against the many things that they need to face daily: From wearing helmets to exercising every morning.

But when it comes to health issues like Cancer, they tend to leave things to ‘fate’, to ‘God’s plan’.

We want to show that taking steps to protect yourself against Cancer is just common sense, like wearing masks on the streets. It’s simple, and necessary.

You can’t just leave it to ‘God’s plan’.
This is your life, and therefore, YOUR PLAN.
